DISTRICT LITERACY AWARDS PROGRAM.
 
Clubs qualify for a certificate of recognition by submitting details of their various literacy projects to the Supporting Education and Literacy Coordinator between July 1 and June 30 of the Rotary year.  The application form can be downloaded by clicking the Application Form Link.
 
To qualify for the certificate, reported literacy activities must include at least 3 of the activities listed below:
  1. Establish and/or keep up-to-date a club website.
  2. Communicate with your membership through a Facebook Group page.
  3. Share your club bulletin through social media.
  4. Submit an article on a club Literacy project to the Bridge.
  5. Use Rotary Brand Center resources to update your club literature.
  6. Publicise your club projects through local radio, TV or print media.
Projects must be started and completed between July 1 and June 30 of the Rotary year. All applications will be reviewed by the District Education and Literacy committee and approved by the District Governor.
