A Toronto harbour dinner cruise has been booked for Monday, June 25, 2018 by District 6330. Passengers will be welcomed aboard beginning at 6:00 PM and will return to the dock by 10:00 PM. The fee for District 6330 Rotarians and guests will be $100 (CAD) per person.

As a host, your duties will include welcoming, and engaging in conversation with, our guests who will all be delegates to the convention and their guests. Our goal for the evening will be to have our visitors leave feeling that - "Those Canadians sure showed us a good time!"

The dinner cruise capacity is 80 persons - which will be made up of 40 District 6330 hosts and 40 visitors to the convention.

Because space is limited and we expect that there will be more than 40 District 6330 host volunteers, we likely will have a drawn to determine who will be our hosts. We have setup an online registration page to allow you to put your name on the list. If you would like to be one of the hosts, please register your name on this list before January 15, 2018. If there are more than 40 names on that list on January 15, we will have a random draw to select 40 names from the registration list. The selected hosts will be required to make an online payment within 2 weeks to confirm their intent. If there are less than 40 registered hosts on January 15, all those registered will be expected to pay before January 31, 2018 and additional registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

What other Host Hospitality Event Options are There?

Host hospitality is not limited to the dinner cruise offered by District 6330. Several districts, individual Rotarians and clubs, are getting involved by hosting hospitality events.

Although not much is listed on the convention website at this time, the Host Hospitality committee has recently created a Facebook group to share ideas about hosting at the convention. If you're interested in learning more as it happens, you can signup for the Facebook Group here
