May Peace Be With You
December is a month of celebration for many of us - a time to take a break from day to day routines and celebrate the season - a time also to spend time with our families.
Our wish for you and your families is a joyful celebration of the season. May peace be with you this holiday season and into the new year.

December is Disease Prevention and Treatment Month
Disease prevention and treatment takes on many forms, from supporting studies, to providing immunizations, to improving drinking water and sanitation infrastructure. The world relies on Rotary to tackle these global challenges, and to set an example for others to follow.
Promoting Peace, Providing Clean Water, Saving Mothers and Children, Supporting Education, Growing Local Economies, and Fighting Disease.
Rotary supports activities and training that reduce the cause and effect of disease. The largest example is undoubtedly the Polio Plus initiative - for more than 30 years Rotary's major focus has been the worldwide eradication of polio.

For many, the month of November brings a focus to the good work undertaken by our membership in living The Rotary Foundation motto of “Doing Good in the World.” Many Districts highlight achievements in club giving. Perhaps November is the month when your District Foundation Committee members extend a personal thank you to Foundation supporters for their donations. Maybe your club took advantage of Giving Tuesday, November 28, to become a 100 percent Rotary Direct giving club. In short, November is the month when THANK YOU is expressed in many ways!
