Embracing Change ...

... is the theme of this year's District Conference taking place May 4 and 5 at Grand Bend's famous Oakwood Resort, on the shores of Lake Huron.

Change is happening at an ever increasing pace and impacts all of our lives: This is a conference that you won't want to miss!

Technology, the environment, water, climate, and Rotary itself: Change is everywhere!

Coping with challenges and optimizing opportunities are more important than ever before and this conference has a dynamic line-up of speakers that touch on all of these key topics to help you and your club.

Here's the best part: All the conference speaker sessions are FREE and you can choose to attend part or all of the conference - whatever suits your schedule - you only pay for the meals that you choose!  (Oakwood meals are delicious and they're all reasonably priced)

We need to know you're coming.  Go here for more information or here to register.

Conference speakers...

... we've been talking about the need for change in Rotary for more than a year. At the conference we will learn from each other's experience with change - and be motivated to continue to adapt our clubs to secure the future of Rotary in our communities.

We will also have the privilege of hearing advice from an expert in the field of change management - Kristine Clark a Professor in the School of Business and Management at Niagara College Canada.  With more than 25 years’ experience working in public sector and post-secondary institutions, Kristine will help us understand the difficulties associated with change, and help us understand how to manage that change in our clubs.

... there's more:
  •  we'll be motivated by inspirational speakers to
  • we'll have fun meeting new Rotary friends, renewing acquaintances, and enjoying the entertainment.

Something for Everyone...

... if that isn't enough, the program also includes fun, networking and entertainment plus an alternate program that will put a smile on the face of everyone who signs up!
