Is your Club thinking about a District Grant in 22-23?

  • Do you know how your Club can qualify for a District Grant?
  • Two members need to complete the Grant Qualification Course which can be found on the District Home Page.
  • The Club President for 22-23 plus 1 other officer need to sign the MOU, also found by clicking of the Qualification course. This can be sent to either Martin (martin.a.ward@gmail.com) or myself.

Current statistics for 22-23 Grants:

  • 9 Clubs are fully qualified with 2 having sent in a Grant Proposal for 22-23;
  • 6 Club have 1 member that has completed the course;
  • 4 Clubs have 2 qualified members but have not sent in the MOU and
  • 1 Club had 1 qualified member and has sent the MOU.
  • Where does your Club stand?

  • 13 projects are approved and in progress;

May 31 ----- DEADLINE, DEADLINE, DEADLINE.

Yes, May 31 is the deadline for both the final report for current projects and for proposals for next year. Since I can’t review and approve all Final Reports in 1 day and since they need to be in within 8 weeks of completing a project, please be kind and get them in as soon as possible.

Anyone considering submitting a Proposal should view Grants 101 for the latest on the process for submitting a proposal. There are a couple of specific instructions that I can detect in the proposal if they have not been followed.

Rotaract Clubs can participate in a District Grant and I encourage each Rotaract Club to become qualified and do a project. It can be a project that maximizes the District Grant or a small project to become comfortable with the process. Any questions let me know and I can join your zoom meeting to help.
