Goal. Our goal is to harness the power of Rotary to address the environmental challenges facing our communities and our planet.
Role. The committee’s role is to raise awareness and support clubs in developing meaningful ways to address the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and other issues.

Mission Statement
Inspired by the Four-Way Test and our commitment to Service Above Self to the Planet, the committee shall raise awareness of the spectrum of environmental issues by
- Providing and supporting education to the clubs
- Encouraging clubs to understand and recognize the potential of Rotary to positively influence and impact environmental issues
- Working with clubs across the District, to form environment committees or champions
- Supporting positive initiatives and projects at both the District and Club levels, while recognizing each club’s varying resources and foci.
- Sharing and rewarding success stories in the District.
