RLI PHILOSOPHY

"Having leadership skills does not alone assure good Rotary leadership. An effective Rotary leader must ALSO have Rotary knowledge, perspective about where Rotary has been, where it is now, and a vision of what Rotary can be."  The RLI course is highly recommended especially if you simply want to learn more about Rotary.

Our next session is May 11, 2019 at the Trillium Mutual Insurance Company, 495 Mitchell Rd. S., Listowel.  The cost is only $75 including all your materials, lunch, breaks, etc.  To register email Helen Campbell helencampbell75@gmail.com.

RLI seeks to have Rotarians or Rotaractors who would like to develop their leadership skills (not necessarily as club presidents).  We want to provide those who participate a quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills which is important in voluntary organizations and even in your day to day workplace.

The course includes many topics such leadership, membership, planning, Club operations, Rotary Foundation, projects, service and public relations. This information is covered in an interactive way with facilitated discussions.

The three-part course(RLI I, II & III)  is usually held on Saturdays in our District. Our goal is to provide RLI a minimum of 2 times per Rotary year at different geographic locations.  The program usually runs from 9 am to 4 pm with lunch and breaks. are provided.
