PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
This project establishes TWO women-led macro-tunnel nurseries in the rural communities of Palestina, Panllevar and Pasajquim (San Juan Laguna municipality) to restore Lake Atitlan’s degraded watershed, while creating sustainable livelihoods for indigenous Mayan women. The nurseries will provide native forest species, fruit trees, medicinal plants and natural dye plants for reforestation and commercial cultivation.
Main Objectives are to:
Restore watershed integrity through production and distribution of 15,000+ native trees plus 5,000+ support plants (medicinal herbs, dye plants, fruit trees)
Empower 24 indigenous women (12 per macro-tunnel) through comprehensive agroforestry and business training.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:To increase the economic self-sufficiency of educated young adults from Santa Cruz la Laguna by bridging the gap between academic achievement and sustainable livelihood through entrepreneurship training, professional development support, and financial literacy education.
This project will provide four interconnected program components: (1) Business management training and seed capital opportunities for scholarship graduates (both high school and university); (2) Professional development support, including resume preparation, interview skills, and career coaching, for current and former scholarship students; (3) Pre-vocational and entrepreneurship orientation courses for middle school students across Santa Cruz, to help them envision viable futures and make informed decisions about continuing their studies; and (4) Basic financial literacy and business administration for other program participants such as school parents and artisans, adapted for varying literacy levels.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
This project aims to sustainably increase protein intake and food security for two Beninese orphanages by establishing aquaponic farms. Each site will simultaneously produce fresh tilapia fish and fresh vegetables in a virtuous cycle, covering 100% of the needs of children in orphanages, and the surplus will be marketed to finance the maintenance of the system and the sustainability of the project. In addition to its nutritional impact, this project offers children a concrete opportunity by instilling practical skills in fish farming and market gardening from an early age.
250 children from 2 orphanages in the Atlantic department of the Republic of Benin will benefit from this project.

This project addresses urgent threats to public health and the environment in the Lake Atitlán basin. Untreated wastewater, fertilizer runoff, and soil erosion are contaminating the lake—an essential drinking water source for tens of thousands of residents. To reduce household-level contamination and protect the watershed, the project will install decentralized greywater and blackwater treatment systems, provide in-home water filters, and deliver training on sustainable sanitation. Alongside this, 8,000 trees will be planted, with community education on climate change, tree care, and agroforestry diversification to restore ecological balance. The initiative will be carried out in 3–6 small communities within the municipality of Santa Lucía Utatlán in collaboration with Water4Life, Wellkind, and local leaders.

The project aims to provide 75 free child heart surgeries at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. These surgeries will benefit children from economically poor and marginalized families who are unable to afford the cost of life-saving procedures. The project will include diagnostics, surgery, and post-operative care.

The Life Impact Training Centre provides training for adults living in the region around Itezhi-Tezhi, Zambia. The focus of this project would be the provision of two toilet blocks with 3 toilets each and 3 handwashing stations. There would also be two blocks with 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 hand washing stations. This would require 4 septic soakaway systems, which would include upgrading the current soakaway system to ensure that groundwater and river water are not contaminated. The water supply system would be upgraded to have 2 water treatment systems, 2 solar pumps, and 4 5000 liter storage tanks in addition to the water towers. This provides for water storage for 2 days worth of water and also enables community members to access clean water. Although our focus is on sanitation as associated with this centre, these upgrades will also meet TEVETA standards allowing adults in the area to access vocational training that is recognized with a diploma. This then leads to an economic benefit as the men and women who receive training are employable or can start small businesses.
