Club Description
Burton Student ScholarshipsScholarships for up to 4 students at $1,000 each. One of the scholarships will be to a graduating class of 2020 senior and the other 3 will be to past scholarship recipients that are eligible for 4 years. All high school seniors in the Burton community will have the chance to apply for the 2020 scholarship.
District 6330 Passport E MI Foodbank groceries/Covid-19Funds will help the Eastern Michigan Food Bank to meet these urgent needs by providing funding to purchase more food that will be transported to many food pantries in our district.
Festival City (Stratford) Outdoor Community Basketball CourtAn outdoor basketball court is proposed on the unused parking lot at the former Central High School property for use by all children and adults for much needed free recreation.
Festival City (Stratford) Shade Trees Volleyball BermProvide and plant about 8 trees on the berm of the outdoor volleyball court.
Flushing Little Free Library InstallationRotary Club of Flushing, MI will obtain a "Two Story Red Little Free Library" Unit, plus a "Screw In the Ground" mounting post/post top". We'll add a Bronze Outdoor Rotary Emblem to identify Our Club/Rotary as the contributor of this Library Unit.
Goderich Lonely No More Program – Covid 19 ResponseThe Goderich Rotary Club is partnering with Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health to assist with the purchase of teleconference equipment and first year’s subscription of video conference platforms to support firstly the Lonely No More Program and secondarily the e-learning and training of volunteers for the program.
Grand Bend Grand Bend Covid 19 support1) Purchasing and supplying face masks as a PPE fro Covid 19 and distributing them to regional front-line support organizations.2) Donating $1000 to support Canada Sewing in making face masks as a PPE for Covid 19 and distributing them in the community.
Greater Flint Sunrise COVID Care BagsAscension Genesys in Flint, MI is providing 1,000 care bags to current and future COVID patients discharged from its hospital. Genesys asked Greater Flint Sunrise to participate inn providing items for the care bag. The Club is providing the Kleenex and each Kleenex pack will be branded with the Rotary logo.
Imlay City Covid-19 Food Pantry ReliefDue to the Covid-19 pandemic, Imlay City Rotary Club would like provide relief to local families in need through St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Imlay City, Michigan and the First Congregational Church United Church of Christ of Imlay City. These churches operate food pantries for local families in need.
London Start2Finish, Running & Reading Club ProgramStart2Finish’s mission is to break the cycle of child poverty by providing ongoing educational support to Canada’s at-risk children throughout their school years, nurturing mind, body, and social health so they are empowered to succeed and become role models for change.
London South COMMIT Covid Relief
These funds will go for COVID RELIEF in Nicaragua. The district has okayed projects to be used for this purpose, either in Canada or Internationally.
The money will be used provide food for the NPH orphanage, and to help provide food for the poorest people in the village of Nandarola and the town on Nandaime. We will either use the money to air freight freeze dried vegetables purchased from gleaners in Ontario and / or purchase rice and beans  in Nicaragua. 
London South Schools are in need of outside play equipment like balls and chalk. Three schools will have play equipment hoping the kids (out of school duel to COVID-19 closures) will return in June or for sure for next fall.
London-Hyde Park COVID19 RELIEF - LONDON COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCYThe London Community Chaplaincy to reach out in love to show the families we care by offering emergency food resources weekly, crisis visits, practical resources for new babies, daily online support, online activities and programs for adults, children and youth.
London-Hyde Park CMHA Middlesex COVID-19 ReliefProvision of funds to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Middlesex) efforts to support the provision of consultative services to their Crisis Centre in London, Ontario. The need for these services has dramatically increased since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mitchell Foodbank commercial fridgeOur local Salvation Army, Stratford, Ont manages our Mitchell Food bank. Mitchell Rotary is supporting a purchase of a commercial fridge for our food bank to be able to offer fresh produce to clients in our area who are in need of support.
Petrolia Victoria and Woodland Parks EnhancementsThe purchase and installation of a new Flag Pole in Victoria Park and the purchase and installation of a Park Bench in Woodland Park.Both of these parks are sponsored by our club and we continue to work with the Town of Petrolia to find ways to enhance these Town jewels for the benefit of it's citizen's.
Port Elgin Huron Shores HospiceRenovations to be made to the 2nd suite before we can have a resident admitted. A new floor and trim, widening of the entrance to the suite, new door, door frame, taps, shower head, linens, curtains, storage shelves and kitchen items. Labour for construction is being donated by the Carpenter's Union.
Sarnia Electronic Devices for Community LivingThe Rotary Club of Sarnia purchased tablets and electronic gaming systems for resdients of a local Sarnia Community Living Centre to assist with communicating with their families and care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sarnia After Hours Pollinator Garden
Our club would like to plant a pollinator garden in a City of Sarnia park that we have guardianship of. The garden would have native plant species. 
Sarnia Bluewaterland St. Joseph's Hospice - Donor Recognition Display Screen
Providing a Donor Recognition Display Board. Its a 65" Commercial Display Scree with wall mount bracket as well as the program associated to running the screen (BrightSign - Bluetooth Module). They have outgrown their Donor Tree of Life Donor Wall and will need to change to electronic recognition. Labor to mount and install to be donated.
Southampton Saugeen Memorial Hospital Bed Replacement & Palliative Care Room Furnishings

The Saugeen Memorial Hospital is in the process of replacing a hospital bed and ancillary equipment for patient comfort and service. Also, the palliative care room is in need of  artwork to complete the renovation.  The artwork will offer an improved and more comfortable atmosphere.
St. Clair Chromebooks for St. Clair High SchoolSt. Clair High School is in need of a number of new Chromebooks to assist with on-line learning. Because of the needs due to the COVID 19 pandemic, these Chromebooks would help the school/district continue to offer a variety of classes in an on-line format.
St. Marys Community Dinner DeliveriesCOVID-19 has challenged everyone. Those in particular need are those who are older particularly people who are living alone, individuals with mental or physical challenges or those who have lost their livelihoods. Our club is paying for a hot meal twice a week prepared by local restaurants and Rotarians pick up and deliver these meals using their own vehicles.
St. Thomas Railway City Hampers for Christmas CareIncluded in the hampers are turkey, fresh vegetables, apples and the Christmas trimmings. There is also a component of Christmas gifts based on the registered recipients needs.
St. Thomas Railway City Memorial Tree Planting KCCAIn memory of our Rotarian Ken Wilmott who was an avid environmentalist and promoter of tree planting, we have partnered with KCCA to purchase the trees. We will plant the trees and add a plaque in memory of Ken - a past Assistant Governor, District Grants chair, and many other District positions...we are humbled by his many Rotarian acts.
St. Thomas Railway City St Thomas Elgin Food Bank - Caring CupboardPledge to purchase food items to assist those in need within our community especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.This is used to feed approx. 750 to 850 individuals each month and more during this economical and social crisis.
Stratford Food Bank Support ProgramThe Rotary Club of Stratford plans to assist the Food Banks in the City of Stratford through financial contributions which will be used for the purchase of meat and fresh produce.Rotarians are actively involved in the acquisition of food donations and distribution of the product.During the pandemic the need to support those who are most vulnerable is even more acute.
Stratford All Wheels Park
Through the co-operation of various community groups, an All Wheels Park is being constructed in Stratford in Shakespeare Park, located at 270 Downie Street.  The Rotary Club of Stratford is supporting the third phase of work which involves expanding the pad area and adding advanced skateboarding/biking features.  This new park, which first opened in 2018, replaces a very tired skateboard facility located next the YMCA building. Use of the first two phases of the All Wheels Park has been steady, ranging from youngsters learning to ride bikes to older youth seeking to refine their BMX and skateboarding skills.  The Park is maintained by the Municipality.
Thornbury & Clarksburg Covid-19 assistance to UgandaThis project is a humanitarian project to help feed the children of the Elgon Ngoma Troupe for four months at the rate of CAD750 per month for May, June, July, and August 2020. Receipts for food purchases will be required. With the advent of the pandemic, the troupe is no longer able to support itself by performing. They need financial support to feed its members
Thornbury & Clarksburg Ongoing Covid-19 Community assistanceWe will be working with Beaver Valley Outreach, our community's social services provider, Beaver Valley Community School, Georgian Bay Community School, and St George's Anglican Church, to develop assistance programs directed at families in need due to COVID-related job loss and providing basic food needs.
Walkerton Waterproof upper deck surface of Walkerton Victoria Jubilee Hall (VJH) main entrance (upper porch area). VJH is a Heritage protected building. The VJH is a cultural center for Walkerton/Brockton Municipality administered and maintained by a group of dedicated volunteers including many Rotarians.The upper front porch is in need of repairs. This project will provide a waterproof deck surface.
Walkerton Rain Garden at Centennial Park
A rain garden to catch runoff and prevent it from entering Silver Creek in Centennial Park while adding new habitat for native plants, insects and birds.  The garden will feature native plants, with information on them, as well as a pollinator garden with information on pollinators.  There is an education component, with a interactive sign tower describing local species.
