Hello, District 6330! I’m Courtney Snippe, owner of Snip Snap Marketing in London, Ontario. I help businesses and community organizations tell their stories, strengthen their online presence, and connect with the people they want to reach.
I’m excited to be working with District Governor Lorna and the district team on our public image project. Rotary members put so much time, care, and energy into their communities. My role is to help more people see that work and understand how they can get involved.
Together, we’re strengthening the district’s social media presence, improving consistency across communications, and developing practical resources that make it easier for clubs to share their stories and promote upcoming events. This includes guidance on sharing district content, accessing campaign images, and using Rotary’s branded templates.
Our goal is to help turn awareness into participation—whether that means attending an event, volunteering, donating, or starting a conversation about membership.
Small actions can help Rotary reach more people
• Follow and engage: Follow the district’s public social media accounts, and comment on posts that connect with you. A personal comment adds a member’s voice to the story.
• Share beyond Rotary: Share public district posts to your own profile or your club’s page. Add a sentence about why the project matters to you, so friends and neighbours have a reason to take a closer look.
• Make participation easy: When promoting a club event, include the date, location, and a clear registration or donation link. Keep your club’s event listing current so people can find accurate information.
• Capture the impact: Take clear photos of members in action, with permission, and note what happened, who benefited, and why it matters. These details help tell a stronger story.
You don’t need to be a social media expert to make a difference. Your connection to your community is what makes these stories meaningful.
